1. Cancellations & Refunds

1.1 When you cancel a booking

Due to the time and organisation involved in touring, Jo Jo's Day Tours Pty Ltd ("Jo Jo's Day Tours"), ABN 65 639 259 439, reserves the right to charge a Tour Cancellation Fee to cover cost and losses. The following cancellation fees are applicable.

Cancellation Fees:

  • Less than 24 hours notice from Tour Date: 100% of tour cost

  • 24 hours to 4 days notice from Tour Date: 50% of tour cost

  • 5 to 14 days notice from Tour Date: 10 of tour cost

  • 20+ days notice from the Tour Date: 0% (Full Refund)

NOTE: Should you wish to cancel or make changes to your booking, please contact us at hello@jojosdaytours.com.au or on 0419 757 477If your tour is cancelled due to a reason out of your control, you will be refunded in full for your tour.

1.2 When we cancel your booking

Jo Jo's Day Tours reserves the right to cancel any ticket or booking or refuse to carry any passenger, where payment has not been received by Jo Jo's Day Tours within the specified timeframe.

All tours are subject to weather, minimum passenger numbers, and availability of confirmed venues and suppliers. As such, tours may be changed or cancelled without notice. Jo Jo's Day Tours accepts no liability for any such cancellation or change. Jo Jo's Day Tours reserves the right to substitute tours, if necessary.

The minimum passenger number required for any advertised tour is 13 passengers.

Should a tour be cancelled by Jo Jo's Day Tours (for reasons outside of our control), Jo Jo's Day Tours will either

​

  • Reschedule your booking;

  • place your booking on-hold for future use (for up to 2 years); OR

  • provide a full refund, if booked and paid directly to Jo Jo's Day Tours.

Please allow up to 10 business days for refunds to be received into your account.

​

In the event that your tour is cancelled, Jo Jo's Day Tours will make every effort to contact you via email (if you have provided us with an email address) as soon as possible.

Jo Jo's Day Tours also recommends that you check the status of your tour 24 hours before the tour, by visiting https://www.jojosdaytours.com.au/whats-on and ensuring your Tour is still visible in the calendar at the date and time of your booking.

2. Changes to Bookings

Changes to bookings can be made and are free of charge, providing they are within a reasonable timeframe so that your booking can be replaced. Changes cannot be made within 48 hours of the tour.

3. Late Arrival (being late for your tour)

Our tours always operate on a tight schedule, from picking up other passengers to having pre-booked appointments with each destination. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your arranged pick-up time, unfortunately we will leave you behind and 100% of the tour cost will apply.

4. Liability

Your use of this site is at your own risk. Where conditions and warranties implied by applicable law cannot be excluded, Jo Jo's Day Tours limits its liability where and to the extent it is entitled to do so. Otherwise, neither Jo Jo's Day Tours, nor any of its affiliates, officers or directors nor any of its agents or any other third party involved in creating, producing or delivering the site will be liable for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or other damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on the site, including damages caused by viruses or any incorrectness or incompleteness of the information on the site, or the performance of the products.

5. Exclusion of Liability (Force Majeure)

We do not accept liability for any loss, damage or expense resulting from war or terrorist activities threatened or actual, riot or civil unrest, industrial action threatened or actual, weather conditions, fire, flood, drought, closures, unforeseen alterations to public transport schedules, rescheduling of aircraft or boats, epidemic or outbreaks of illness or any other event outside our control which either delays or extends or reduces the trip, or compels a change in the trip arrangements after departure ("Force Majeure").

6. Copyright

All content featured or displayed on the site is owned by Jo Jo's Day Tours. You may not modify any of the materials and you may not copy , distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, licence, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information or work contained on the site. Except as authorised under copyright laws, you are responsible for obtaining permission before reusing any copyright material that is available on the site. For the purposes of these terms, the use of any such material on any other website or networked computer environment is prohibited. You will not remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices from material found on the site.

7. Age Policy

If you're planning to travel with infants, please contact us at hello@jojosdaytours.com.au for details before booking, as there are seating and safety considerations.

8. Smoking

Smoking is not permitted on the bus. There are designated smoking areas at most of the destinations we visit.

9. Behaviour

Jo Jo's Day Tours reserves the right to refuse to carry a person who's behaviour is affecting the other passenger's experience in a negative way. Any threats to the driver, passengers, or venues that are verbal or physical will result in your removal from the tour. If you are required to leave the tour due to a behavioural issue, no refund will be issued. Jo Jo’s Day Tours will not be responsible for expenses resulting in such persons being precluded from completing the tour for any reason.

10. Excessive Drinking

Jo Jo's Day Tours staff love a good drink as much as you do, however we do care about your safety and there is a difference between having a great day with a few drinks and taking things too far. If any staff from Jo Jo's Day Tours think you are heavily intoxicated, you may be cut off from drinking any further. No compensation or refund will be provided if you have been refused alcohol for being intoxicated.

Vomiting in the bus as a result of irresponsible alcohol intake will result in a $200 charge. Damage to the bus as a result of alcohol related irresponsible behaviour will result in a $200 charge.

11. Photography (Model Release)

During tours, photos may be taken of venues and locations, scenery, and passengers (customers) by a member of Jo Jo's Day Tours for commercial purposes. By booking one of our tours you acknowledge and hereby grant permission to Jo Jo's Day Tours Pty Ltd to create, copy, reproduce, exhibit, publish or distribute any likeness of yourself and your belongings to be used for commercial purposes, including public display, advertising and promotions.

You further understand that by granting this permission, you are irrevocably giving up all rights and claims to monetary compensation for any future uses of this material by Jo Jo's Day Tours.

If you do not wish for your photo or likeness to be taken during a tour, please let your bus driver and tour guide know when boarding the bus and we will make our best effort to exclude you from any photographs taken on the day.

12. Luggage Limits

Luggage space is limited onboard our bus. Each passenger is entitled to take small carry-on luggage, including handbags, small backpacks, or lunch boxes. Larger luggage, including suitcases, travel bags and Eskies/iceboxes/chillers will not be able to be stored on the bus.

13. Special Needs

Persons with limited mobility or those unable to adequately care for themselves are required to be accompanied by a carer. In particular, hostesses, tour guides, bus drivers, and your fellow passengers will not act as assistants or carers in these circumstances. Jo Jo’s Day Tours reserves the right to refuse to carry passengers requiring assistance who are not accompanied by a carer.

14. Vehicle Safety & Reliability

Jo Jo’s Day Tours maintains strict standards of safety and reliability of vehicles at all times, however, in rare cases mechanical failure may occur. Passengers are assured that every effort is made to minimise any small inconvenience experienced, while we utilise the large network of repair facilities Australia wide.

15. Connecting Services

Jo Jo’s Day Tours can give no guarantee as to the exact arrival and departure times for carriers and operators used in the tour and cannot be liable for failure to make connections with any services or attractions.

16. Tour Prices

Jo Jo’s Day Tours reserves the right to vary the advertised or printed price to cover any significant increases in airfare, rail fare, fuel price or other tour related costs.

17. Bus Seating

Seating is limited on our bus and single passengers may be allocated a seat beside another passenger they are not acquainted with. If additional free seating is available on the bus, Jo Jo’s Day Tours will make every effort to accommodate requests for preferences on seating, however, cannot make any guarantees and will not offer any refunds to customers who choose not to join the tour due to personal preference of seating.

18. Experience

Jo Jo’s Day Tours takes all reasonable steps to ensure an enjoyable holiday experience and cannot accept liability for any loss of enjoyment whatsoever and howsoever experienced by the passengers.
