Tour Description

Another exciting "Special Tour". This is very different; it is not only informative but gives an insight into why we call the beauty of the countryside, Hidden Gems. This Tour highlights the amazing resourcefulness of farmers. We also hear about farming life and their bumpy ride. Being reliant on weather, production, local markets and often the international markets, all can contribute to a financially successful or un-successful year. The outcome is a major influencer on our agricultural industries. This tour includes all the following: Morning Tea: What better way to start the day? Demonstration: Lychee Wine how it is being produced and prepared for its various uses. Tour of Orchard: View the Lychee Orchard while receiving an informative presentation on the fruit trees' growth and the fruit's interesting development from planting to maturity. Boat Ride: Sit back and relax as you enjoy a boat ride on the beautiful Dam, surrounded by orchards (The Pontoon Boat caters to people of all abilities and with a focus on all ages) Bus Ride: Following our Boat ride, we board the bus for a 15-minute drive to Lychee Divine’s Satellite Cellar Door where you will be seated for Lunch. Lunch: A Delicious Home-made Lunch will also be accompanied by Free Tastings of Lychee Divine’s AWARD-WINNING range of WINES. Bus Ride: On the completion of Lunch, we will proceed to Howard. During our trip, Trivia Games with Prizes will be conducted. Last Venue: Towards the end of “Jo Jo’s Day Tour” there will be a Stop at Bamboo Land at Howard. Date: Tuesday 12/11/2024 Pick-Up & Drop-Off: Quay Street Carpark, Bundaberg (down from River Cruz Café). Departure: Please arrive at 7:45 AM for a 8.00 AM departure. Returning: Arrive back in Bundaberg from a day full of INFORMATION, FUN, FOOD, and BEAUTIFUL VIEWS at approximately 4:30 PM.
